A FLYING TO LONDON

Announcement: Welcome to London Heathrow where the local time

is 10:30.  We hope you have enjoyed your flight. Thank you for flying

with British Airways  We hope you enjoy your stay in London.

Passport Control

Passport officer: Can you please have your passport open at the

correct page in order to speed up the process, thanks! Please note

that mobile phones are not allowed to be used in this area.

After clearing passport control

Sara: Excuse me please where can I find my luggage?

Worker: Where are you flying from?

Sara: From Madrid

Worker: Usually if you took at the screens over there they will tell you

the conveyor belt number.  Yes look, it says Madrid, belts 7, 9 & 11.

There are a lot of Madrid flights up there! What airline did you fly with

and what's your flight number?

Sara: With British Airways I think the flight number was BA786.

Worker: in that case you need to go to belt 9. It's over there.

Sara: Thank you. Also, can i ask you a question?  Where can I get a

bus to central London?

Worker: There's the National Express bus stop at Terminal 1 or 2 I'm

not entirely sure - when you  clear customs go and ask at the

Information point. They know everything!

Sara: Thanks you have been very helpful!
